Timothy Tramel

Fletcher - Timothy F. Tramel, 58, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at his residence in Fletcher, NC.

Tim was born on July 24th, 1962 in Hampton, Virginia to the late Patrick Gallatin Tramel and Dorothy Carver Hamilton, but lived all around the world, from North Carolina to Japan, as a classic military brat growing up. After graduating from Enka High School, he joined the National Guard where he served in the Military Police.  Tim was employed by PLI as the senior electronic engineer for the last 16 years, but there was nothing Tim enjoyed more in his past time than eating good Cajun food, grilling with his family, and watching his Saints play on Sunday. He touched the hearts of all who had the pleasure of calling him a friend and was quick to help anyone in need. Tim was truly the most selfless man and will be remembered as the best father, grandfather, chef, and friend that anyone could ask for. His witty sense of humor and bad dad jokes will live on through all of us. There are no words to explain how great of a man Tim was and always will be.

Tim is survived by his two daughters, Lauren Tramel (Devin Everson) and their expected son of Charlotte and Taylor Tramel of Raleigh; his one son, Zachariah Harris of Greensboro; two brothers, Michael Tramel of Waynesville and Patrick Tramel (Kristie Tramel) of Candler; and his two grand dogs, Tupac and Simba.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
