Timothy Coleman

Waynesville – Timothy Shawn Coleman, 55, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Silver Bluff Rehabilitation Center.

Timothy was a native of Buncombe County but had lived most of his entire life in Haywood County.  He was a son of the late Max Roger and Alberta Medford Coleman. Timothy worked at Haywood Vocational Opportunities and was a member of Clyde Central United Methodist Church. He loved to draw, color, and collect Elvis Pressley memorabilia.

He is survived by a brother, Benny Coleman and his wife, Traci and nephew, Shaun, all of Clyde; an aunt and uncle, Norma and Lowell Medford; several cousins; many friends; and all of The Arc of Haywood County family.

A private memorial service will be held in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Nathan Murray officiating.  Burial will be at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arc of Haywood County, 407 Welch Street, Waynesville, NC  28786.
