Thelma Lowe

Waynesville, Thelma Louellen Carver Lowe, age 86, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Care Partners Solace.

A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Claymer and Leona Cagle Carver.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant brother; and a sister, Tulan Carver Garnes.  Thelma was a member of Allens Creek Baptist Church.  She loved being a homemaker and camping.

Thelma is survived by her husband of 66 years, Frank Lowe; two sons, Roger Lowe and Marty Lowe (Darlene); a sister, Edith Nichols; and three grandchildren, Mekenzie Mull (Steven), Tyler and Brent Lowe; and four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Sylas, and Norah Lowe and Bridger Mull.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Scotty Patrick and Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating.  Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
