Taylor Conard

Canton, Taylor Michael Conard, age 19, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at his home.

Taylor, a lifelong resident of Canton, was an amazing young man with an insatiable love for cars, especially mustangs, gamming and family vacations to the beach.  He was the center of his grandparents lives and adored by his brothers and sister.  Taylor was kind, considerate and a loyal friend.  He will be forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.

Taylor is survived by his mother, Callie Hefner Crawford and her husband, David, of Canton; father, Michael Steven Conard, of Canton; paternal grandmother, Margie Carver, and her husband, Steve, of Waynesville; paternal grandfather, Ronnie Conard and his wife, Carolyn, of Bethel; maternal grandparents Bobby and Katherine Hefner, of Etowah; sister, Morgan Conard, of Canton; two brothers Dylan Reese, of Canton; and Tanner Reese, of Cullowhee; niece, Kinzlee Reese and nephew, Parker Sizemore; and his beloved cat, Pepper.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Canton with Brother David Crawford and Reverend Brandon Mendez officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sarge’s Animal Rescue at 256 Industrial Park Dr. Suite B, Waynesville, NC 28786.
