Roy Pressley

Canton, Roy Hunter Pressley, 34, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 in Sumter, South Carolina.

Hunter was a native of Haywood County and the son of Roy and Cathy Caldwell Pressley.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Pressley and grandmother, Roba Caldwell.

He was employed in the construction industry.  Hunter was always on the go.  He loved kids and was very athletic.  He enjoyed skateboarding and was an ace snowboarder.  Hunter was of the Christian faith.

Hunter is survived by his parents, Roy and Cathy Caldwell Pressley; grandfather, Hugh Edward Caldwell and grandmother Susie Pressley; two sisters,  Stephanie Owens and Lauren Rollins (Rhett); one niece, Rhilynn Rollins; and two nephews, Harper Rollins and Alex Owens.

No services are planned at this time.

The care of Mr. Pressley has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
