Polly Sutton

Waynesville, Polly Ann Haney Sutton, 72, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Harold Dexter and Ada Pearl Goodson Haney.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Sutton (1995) and a grandson, Justin Ted Inman (2004).  Polly retired from Christopher Farms after 21 years.  Polly enjoyed working and loved her customers, who in turn loved her as well.  She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Polly is survived by a daughter, Audrey M. Inman (Ted) of Canton; a son, John David Mease, Jr. (Kelly) of Clyde; three sisters, Mary Green (Bill), Nancy Cabral (Tony) and Lucy Green (Red), all of Waynesville; three brothers, Gary Haney (Minnie) of Franklin, Phillip Haney (Shirley) and Wendell Goodson (Frieda), all of Waynesville; three grandchildren, Kayla Austin (Mark), Madisyn and Alyvia Mease; and one great-granddaughter, Millie Austin.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Riverside Cemetery with Reverend Steve Frazier officiating.
