Olga Rueda

Olga Garcia Rueda, 83, of Candler, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022.

Born in Mexico, Olga was the daughter of the late Andrés Garcia and Aurelia Sosa.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerardo Rueda, on October 2, 2018.

Her children, Olga González and her husband, Pastor José Raymundo González, Liliana "Lili" Lane and her husband, Michael Lane all of Candler and their son, Gerardo Rueda of Mexico, remain to treasure her memory; sister, Teresa Garcia of Mexico; eight grandchildren, Olga Alicia Cox, Raymundo González, Gerardo Rueda, Andrea Smith, Leslie Howard, Laisha Rueda, Trinity Lane and Levi Lane and three great-grandchildren, Ariana King, Iris González and Paisley Smith.

A celebration of Ms. Rueda's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022 at The Potter's House, 2040 New Leicester Highway, Asheville, NC 28806

The care of Mrs. Rueda has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.

Olga García Rueda, de 83 años, de Candler, falleció el martes 27 de septiembre de 2022.

Nacida en Mexico, Olga era hija de los fallecidos Andrés Garcia y Aurelia Sosa.  Además de sus padres, también fue precedida en la muerte por su esposo, Gerardo Rueda, el 2 de octubre de 2018.

Quedan para atesorar su memoria sus hijos, Olga González y su esposo, el pastor José Raymundo González, Liliana "Lili" Lane y su esposo, Michael Lane todos de Candler y su hijo, Gerardo Rueda de México; hermana, Teresa García de México; ocho nietos, Olga Alicia Cox, Raymundo González, Gerardo Rueda, Andrea Smith, Leslie Howard, Laisha Rueda, Trinity Lane y Levi Lane y tres bisnietos, Ariana King, Iris González y Paisley Smith.

Una celebración de la vida de la Sra. Rueda se llevará a cabo a las 7:00 p.m. el viernes 30 de septiembre de 2022 en La Casa del Alfarero, 2040 New Leicester Highway, Asheville, NC 28806

El cuidado de la Sra. Rueda ha sido confiado a Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
