Canton – Mary Ann Reagan, 77, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.
Ann was a native of Buncombe County but had lived in Haywood County for the past 35 years and was a daughter of the late Eldred and Ethel Davis Nelon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jenny Franklin and Audrey Searcy. Retiring in 2012, Ann worked at the Lambuth Inn at Lake Junaluska and was a member of New Covenant Church. She loved to cook, birdwatch, work puzzles, and spend time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Warren of Clyde; two sons, Phillip J. Reagan and fiancé, Arlissa Stanley of Canton and Jonathan Paul Reagan and wife, Brittanie, of Hendersonville; one sister, Irene Harwood; a brother, Robert “Bob” Nelon; seven grandchildren, Avery, Coley, and Alycin, Amaya, Tate, Lorelai, and Magnolia; and one great-grandchild, Peyton Kenleigh Ray.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 8, 2019 at New Covenant Church with the Reverend Chip Plemmons officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
