Mark Smith

Canton – Jerry Mark Smith, Jr., 55, took his final journey on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Mission Memorial Campus after suffering a heart attack while hunting.

Mark worked for several contracting companies across the United States and made many friends throughout his travels.  He loved nothing more than cooking a meal to share with friends.  He will be remembered for his carefree spirit and infectious laugh.

God has blessed us with the knowledge that he spent his last days doing what he loved most, being out in nature and for that we are thankful.

Mark is survived by his mother, Robin Cabe-Smith; father, Jerry Smith (Kathy); wife, Marcia Smith; daughter, Lydia Wright (Luke), sister, Laura Berry (Kenneth), grandson, Thomas Wright; and nieces, Caroline and Camille Berry.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens in Clyde.  All who knew and loved Mark are welcome to attend.
