Waynesville – Kristin Lee Buck, 61, passed away peacefully at Memorial Mission Hospital, Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Kristin was born in Fresno, California and resided in Missouri prior to moving to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, in 2018.  She was the daughter of the late Carl Haney and Laura “EO” Edmunds.

Kristin was a Light in this dark world.  Always sending cards filled with love and encouragement.  She battled so many challenges with courage and bravery, strengthened by the armor of Christ.  We know she is dancing with Jesus in her resurrection body, fully pain-free and unchained.  Although that will not stop our tears from flowing.  She will be so dearly missed.

Kristin is survived by her husband of 42 years, Stephen Buck, of Waynesville; two daughters, Tiffany Bonnagio, and her husband, Graham Odell Dalton, Jr., of Waynesville and Emily Buck, of the home; one son, Carl Buck, and his wife, Margaret Graham, of Jefferson City, Missouri; and two beloved granddaughters, Jaylee Buck and Taylor Bonnagio.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations in Kristin’s name to:  Laughing At My Nightmare, Inc.  A non-profit that provides adaptive equipment for people living with a disability.
