Jeanne Bryant Glasgow, 93, of Candler passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Pisgah Manor in Candler following a period of declining health.

Born August 6, 1927 in Corinth, MS, she was daughter of the late Ward Logan and Martha Louise Wilson Bryant.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Hal David Glasgow.

Jeanne previously lived in Memphis, Tennessee where she was active in the Beethoven Club and Memphis Opera Theater.  She was a teacher for a private boys prep school and a member of DAR – Daughters of the American Revolution for over 65 years. After she and Hal moved to Asheville, NC, they became members of Montmorenci United Methodist Church in Candler.

A Cryptside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Wells Chapel of Faith Mausoleum of Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Pastor Karen Kurtz will officiate.

The care of Mrs. Glasgow has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
