Jacqueline Gibson

Jacqueline Miller Gibson, age 88, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late W. E. and Letha Reece Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Gibson, who died in 1977 and a brother, German E. "Nazi" Miller. She retired from Champion International. Jacqueline also worked at Stiles Mart and Midway Medical Center and was a member of Canton Central United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Linda G. Clark and her husband, Bobby, of Canton and Kathie G. Thomas of Atlanta; a sister, Hazel Frederick of Canton; a brother, Clyde Miller of Canton; and two grandchildren, Dedra Thomas of Atlanta and Ben Clark of Asheville. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Michael Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
