Eva Singleton

Eva Nell Henson Singleton, 84, wife of the late Dale Singleton, of Seneca, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, GA with her daughters by her side. She was a loving and caring Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother.   A kind beautiful soul she made everyone feel loved and special.  When Eva was in a room she exuded warmth and generosity.  Eva always  looked for the best in others and showed interest in their lives. She will be greatly missed and forever cherished.

A native of Waynesville, NC, Mrs. Singleton was the daughter of the late Charlie and Beatrice Henson.

Mrs. Singleton is survived by her children: Dinah Singleton (Sandra Mendoza) of Savannah, GA, Kim Singleton Murphy (Jerry Murphy) of Savannah, GA and Marty Singleton (Sheri) of Huntingdon, TN; sister: Charlene Howell of Waynesville, NC; brother: Tony Henson of Waynesville, NC; and grandchildren: Caroline, Will, Sophie, Annabelle, Millie and Vivian Singleton.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by her siblings: Sarah Henson, Christine Henson, Ronnie Henson and Rebecca Mathis.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Barberville Baptist Church, 1441 Russ Avenue, Waynesville, NC. Visitation will start at 12:00 PM, prior to the service at the church.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Heritage Memorial Gardens in Westminster, SC.
