Erin Putnam

Canton – Erin Elizabeth Bunting Putnam, 46, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at her residence.

Erin was a native of Haywood County and a daughter of Francis Leander Bunting and Juanita Ruth West Taylor.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Millard West, aunt, Lorrie Neeley, paternal grandmother, Bonnie Bunting and paternal grandfather, Leo Bunting.  Erin lived for a while in Huntington, Indiana.  She loved painting and doing crafts with her mom and enjoyed her regular television shows.  Erin loved her animal’s “Meatloaf” and “Puddin Tater” and was the best mother possible.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 27 years, Roy Putnam; daughter, Lesleigh Putnam; two sons, Eli Putnam (Marisia) and Tristan Putnam; two sisters, Shannon Jones (Jeffrey) and Hollie Palmer; three grandchildren, Aiden Putnam, Elijah Marquis, and Austin Baker; one great-grandchild, Payten Moore; paternal step-mother, Linda Bunting; step-father, Lester Taylor; grandmother, Maye West; four nieces, Christian Harrison, Olivah Palmer, Norah Palmer and Elainah Palmer; and one nephew, Kristofer Bryant.

At Erin’s request, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
