Donald Greer

Donald James Greer, 64, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Mission Memorial Campus.

A 10-year resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late William and Ruth Shay Greer.

Donald was a native of New Jersey and prior resident of Hawaii.  He enjoyed Hawaiian music, traveling to the outer islands, and spending time with friends.  He worked for C. Brewer & Co. in Hawaii and at a local grocery store in Waynesville. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Colleen Greer; sister, Janet Greer; and brother, Thomas Greer.

No services are planned.

The care of Mr. Greer has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
