Charles Ellison, Iii

Charles Taylor Ellison III, age 27, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at his home in Weaverville, NC. A native of Buncombe county, NC. “Taylor” was born to Charles Taylor Ellison Jr. and Jennifer Michelle Meares.

When he was born, he was the first of five generations of Ellisons. He is preceded in death by his beloved great-grandmother, Mabel “Snooks” Ellison, a great-grandfather, Willis Ellison, and a grandfather, Charles T. Ellison Sr. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-mother, Trena Ellison of Waynesville, three brothers, Matthew Ellison of Dallas, TX, Austin Ellison of Asheville, NC, and Jake Gufford of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Adriene Ellison of Jacksonville, FL, and Jessica Gufford of Jacksonville, FL; two grandmothers, Sandra Meares of Columbia, SC, and June Morris of Candler, NC; his dearest aunt, Tracy Lunsford, who was like a mother to him along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Wells Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
