Betty Greene

Clyde, Betty Jean Arrington Greene, age 84, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Givens Estate.

A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Nellie Bradley Arrington.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kay Greene, who died in 2007; two sisters, Lucille A. Davis and Hazel A. Bishop.  Betty was a Secretary for Dayco Corporation, for 28 years.  She was a member of Woodland Baptist church, where she was the secretary, treasurer and a very active member.  Betty enjoyed quilting, crocheting and was a great cook.

Betty is survived by two sisters, Pauline A. Massie and Dorothy A. Allison (Don); a twin brother, Gene Arrington; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Private graveside services were held at Crawford-Ray Memorial Gardens with Reverend Bobby Rogers and Wilda Medford officiating.

The care of Mrs. Greene has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
