Aleia Worth

Canton, Aleia Jade Worth, our beautiful daughter, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 16.

She is survived by those who loved her most including her mother, Kelley, father, Robert, grandmother, Sue, pet cat Midnight, dogs Zeus, and Apollo.  She was also survived by many friends to Aleia considered her “Tribe”.

Those who knew Aleia knew of her bright and vibrant personality, her unique outlook on life, and her desire to help each person she met.  Others often spoke of how she walked by the beat of her own drum.

Aleia was homeschooled with Kelley aka “Momma Mia”.  Aleia was a long-time student at Music Academy of Asheville’s Rock Academy Program where she was an exceptional vocalist, bass player, and band member.  Aleia also had a small but successful business at Maddie’s on Main in Canton – where she and her dad would sell things that spoke to Aleia.  Her booth at Maddie’s will remain open – and all profits will be donated to the “Give to the music” non-profit organization.  Many Canton business owners have been very supportive and miss Aleia’s smiling face when she would frequent their stores.

Some of Aleia’s loves and passions were Monster Drinks, Hello Kitty, Anime, Cosplay, Crystals, Candles, Herbs, Ice Cream, and Pepper Jack Cheese.  She also enjoyed busking and visiting local businesses in Downtown Canton.  At a younger age, Aleia was involved in musical theatre and trained with Spencer in the field of martial arts.

A celebration of Aleia's life took place on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Beaverdam Community Pavilion.
