Zola Davis

Clyde-Zola Loretta Aust Davis, age 71, of 193 Asheville Highway in Sylva, formerly of Clyde, died Wednesday, January 21, 2004, died at Harris Regional Hospital.

She was a native of Goodwill, West Virginia and had lived in Haywood County most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Orvil P. and Claire Aust. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lawrence Davis, who died in 1998.

She is survived by two daughters, Diana Lashmen, of Orlando, Florida and Donna Mann of Asheville; two sons, Perry Davis, of Clyde and Michael Davis of Augusta, Georgia; two sisters, Pat Zamberlan, of Bluewell, West Virginia and Sylvia Davis of Middleton, Virginia; a brother, Ralph Aust, of Kentucky; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Clyde with the Reverend Steve Smith officiating.
