Yong Kim

On Monday, March 30, 2020, Yong Sam Kim, beloved husband and father of 4 children, fell asleep in Jesus at the age of 80. His greatest passion was sharing his Christian faith with others--including tour guides and even an EMT while in an ambulance. He loved to farm by hand and share the produce with his children and many others. He was well known for his very lengthy lectures on his two favorite subjects-- God and health. He is survived by his wife, Sung Ja Kim and their 4 children- Eunice (spouse John Kim and 3 children), Esther (spouse Caleb Kim and 3 children), Gloria (spouse Chris Kim and 3 children), and Daniel (spouse Tomoko Kim and 3 children). At the close of his life, he echoed the words of the apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7-8. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing."
