William "Bill" Neuman

Maggie Valley, William George Neuman, age 73, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019.

A native of Wayne County, Michigan, he was the son of the late Carl and Doris Neuman.  Bill resided in Palm Beach County for 30 years and Maggie Valley for the last 15 years.  He proudly served his country in the National Guard for 6 years and was the owner and operator of Lake Pointe Enterprises for over 35 years.  Bill was a hardworking and determined individual.  He was a gifted carpenter, constructing much of the woodwork on his log cabin in Maggie Valley.  Bill will be remembered for his kind and compassionate disposition and will leave a legacy of love to his friends and family.

Bill is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joan Neuman; one son, William "Billy" Eric Neuman; one sister, Carol Brenner; one niece, Cyndi Leonard and husband, Joe; two nephews, Curt Brenner and wife, Sarah, and Chris Brenner; three step-daughters, Lisa Zito, and husband Mike, Vikki Kiker, and husband, Ben and Donna Jenkins, and husband, Jared; four beloved step-grandchildren, Demi Kiker, Christopher Zito, Olivia Zito and Jackson Kiker.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
