William Morris

Waynesville, William "Billy" Morris, 59, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.

Billy was the son of the Karoline Morris and the late Gene Morris. He was a former supervisor of Dupont Chemical and a member of Ninevah Baptist Church. Billy enjoyed cooking and driving anything with a pedal and a steering wheel.

Billy is survived by a daughter, Amber Cruz (Alex) of Powell, Tennessee; a son, Larry Morris, of Macclenny, Florida; a sister, Lynette "Tootsie" Enloe (Bo), of Waynesville; two brothers, Johnny Morris (Yolanda) of Greenville, South Carolina and Bobby Morris (Marla) of Waynesville; four grandchildren, Taneyah, Camden "Hot Rod", Xander, and Xavier.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Ninevah Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Leslie officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Appalachian Community Mental Health Services, 1482 Russ Avenue, Waynesville, NC 28786.
