William Rhea

Augusta, GA - William Joseph Rhea, age 71, died Monday, October 16, 2006, at Beverly Manor Nursing Home in Augusta, GA. He was a native of Haywood County and the son of the late Dewey and Polly Duckett Rhea. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Morris Rhea who died in 1996; four brothers, Jim, Tom, Bob and J. B. Rhea; and a sister, Mary Rhea. He was a United States Army veteran. He is survived by a sister, Margaret Surrett of Canton; two brothers, Gene Rhea of Conroe, TX and John Rhea of Bugaw, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at a later date with burial at North Canton Community Cemetery.
