William Jones

Waynesville, Lucius Jones, age 69, died on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the John F. Keever Solice Center. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Frank and Reba Bramlette Jones. He was a self-employed farmer. He is survived by several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2008 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Hall, Max Palmer, Scotty Cochran, Lee McMahan, and Larry Higdon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
