William Johnson

William Clarence Johnson, 87, of Asheville, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009. He was a son of the late W.C. and Alberta Johnson. He was also preceded in death by a brother.

Mr. Johnson retired from the US Navy after serving 20 years. He and his wife moved from Sarasota, FL to the mountains to enjoy their retirement years.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary Virginia Johnson, three step-children, Barbara Sauls of Hendersonville, Virginia and Jimmy Caldwell, and his extended family Jimmy and Teena DuBose and their family.

Graveside services will be held 2PM on Thursday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Honors.
