William David Holcombe

William David Holcombe, 72, of Zirconia passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at his residence.  A native of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Alfred and Lillian Creola Frady Holcombe.  In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Alvin Holcombe.

He was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Air Force.

His survivors include his wife, of 49 years, Patricia Lynne Holcombe; sister, Mary Martha Large of Asheville and brother, Ronald Eugene Holcombe of Jefferson City, MD.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler. Pastor Eddie Conard will officiate.

The care of Mr.Holcombe has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
