William Healy

Cullowhee, NC, William E. Healy, age 65, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at his residence. A native of Virginia, he was the son of the late William and Helen Klaske Healy. William was raised in Michigan and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps for four years in the Vietnam Era; ten years in the United States Navy and was a Purple Heart recipient. William enjoyed motorcycling, fishing and football. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jeroma Anderson; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Pearson; a stepson, Emory Pearson and his wife, Rebecca;and a sister, Patricia Brown and her husband, Tal, of Battle Creek. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2013 at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church with Father Richard Benonis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
