William Hartman

Waynesville, William Nelson Hartman, age 75, died on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late William Morris and Margaret Nelson Hartman. He was a Resort Special Activities Director at Disney World for 21 years. Nelson was a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and his beloved Cincinnati Reds. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jean A. Hartman; one daughter, Holly Hartman, of Waynesville; two sons, David Hartman and his wife, Jeri, of Cape Canaveral, FL and Stan Hartman and his wife, Carrie, of Waynesville; and five grandchildren, Jennifer, Evan, Hayley, Kennedy, and Reese Hartman.
