William Hampton

Candler – William Autry “Billy” Hampton, 73, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at his residence.

Billy was a native of Haywood County but had resided in Buncombe County for many years.  He was a son of the late Arvine and Evelyn Reese Hampton and was a United States Marine veteran having served in Vietnam.

He is survived by a sister, Velma Jean Hampton of Florida; and one brother, Ronald Hampton of Candler.

At Billy’s request, no services are planned at this time.
