William Foster

William Keith "Bill" Foster, 65, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at his residence in Waynesville, NC.

A native of St. Louis, Missouri and a former resident of Jupiter, Florida, Bill had resided in Haywood County for the past 25 years. He was the son of Betty Jacobi Becker and Gene and Mary Ann Foster. Bill was a gifted artist in his trade, master carpentry and cabinet making. He was also a champion water skier and boat racer.

In addition to his parents, Bill was survived by his beloved cat, Scooter; his brother, Jim Foster; four sisters and their husbands, Mary and Steve Morse, Carol and Bob Beaulieu, Kathy and Jeff Ridler and Susan and Al Bernasconi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Orin Davis officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
