William Holland

Canton - William Brent Holland, 46, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Brent was a native of Haywood County and a son of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Mary Theresa Kane Holland.

Brent proudly served in the United States Navy.  He loved genealogy, traveling, reading, cooking, spending time with his dog and taking walks. Brent was a member of the Basilica of St. Lawrence.

He is survived by his husband of 3 ½ years, Timothy Charles Raynor Holland; two sisters, Angela Darlene Tinkham of Illinois and Tabatha Koehn of Wisconsin; a brother, Richard Worley of Candler and his stepmother, Lana Holland of Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church with the Reverend Todd Donatelli officiating.  Interment will be held at Locust Field Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
