Wesley Wade Inman

Wesley Wade Inman, 80, of Candler, NC passed away on December 2, 2023.

Wesley was born in Elmer, New Jersey on June 17, 1943, to the late John William Inman and Mabel Ward Inman.  He is also preceded in death by his wife Mary Lu Inman, his son Eric Wayne Inman, brothers John William Inman, Jr., Calvin Marvin Inman and sister Maxine Miriam Inman.

Wesley retired from Sprint telephone company after many years of service.  He enjoyed hiking, birdwatching, listening to music and spending time with his family.  Wesley was a strong man of faith and shared his love for God with everyone he met.  He was known for his kindness and generosity and would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.  Wesley was a member of Blue Ridge Christian Church. 

He is survived by his sons Martin Wade Inman, of Candler, NC, and Jason Allen Inman, of Candler, NC; grandchildren, Riley Inman of Seattle, WA, Saije Inman, of Boone, NC; sisters, Carol Inman Kober (Chris), of Queensbury, NY, Sharon Inman Burks, of Loxahatchee, FL, Naomi Inman Parker, of Anthony, FL, Juleen “Dee” Kessler (Frank), of Old Hickory, TN; brothers, Lawrence S. Inman, of Ocala, FL, Virgil V. Inman (Patty), of Fruitland Park, FL, Quinton Downing (Katie), of Fruitland Park, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Wells Chapel of Faith located at Wells Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Reverend Gary Washburn officiating.  The family will visit one hour prior to the service at the Wells Chapel of Faith.
