Warren Thanmithak

Candler, Warren Lee Thanmithak, age 25, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.

A native of Sedgwick County, Warren Lee, was the son of the late Boon Thanmithak and Bridget Ann Siedler.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather's Howard Duane Siedler and Han Peng and uncle Kien Bahn.

Warren Lee Thanmithak was a friend, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, chef,  fisherman, comedian, deep thinker and lover of knowledge, MMA enthusiast, gun aficionado, survivalist at the ready and grill master.  He was beloved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. If Warren considered you a friend or family he was fiercely loyal, affectionate and would do anything for you. Due to his own life long struggle with cardiomyopathy (an enlarged heart) he had a willingness to listen carefully and relay kindness, compassion and help humans or animals unreservedly. Our lives were greatly enriched by his generous soul and he will be profoundly missed.

In addition to Warren's mother, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Nancy "Nan Nan" Siedler, of Candler and beloved paternal grandmother, Mui Vuong, of Wichita, Kansas; great uncle Hong Vuong and great aunt Lan Ly; sisters, Isabel Thanmithak, of Overland Park, Kansas, Lauren Peng, of Wichita, Kansas, and Van Linh Siharath and her wife, Isa Mercer, of Paris; aunts, Hillary Siedler, Co Minh Peng, Co Chan Tran, Co Teunachit Banh and Co Kim Santana; uncles, Lucian Siedler, Mike Santana, and Joe Wallace; nephew, Michael Ryan Tabler, of Wichita; and beloved cousins Viet Doan, Ava Bao Doan and her daughter, Jolie Timothy Tran, Tiffany Tran, Vu Vuong, Thieu Vuong, Becky Wong and their children, Linda Peng, Sophia Peng, Hung Peng and on mother Bridget's side of the family, Mark and Sandy Welker, Andy and Ellen Cutting, Catherine Cutting and both Welker daughters, Sarah and Emily.

Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Brahma Ridge Event Center, 84 Brahma Ridge, Candler, NC 28715.  The family will receive friends following Warren's Celebration of Life at the event center.
