Wanda Caldwell

Waynesville, Wanda Caldwell, age 50, of Riverbend Street, died Friday, June 13, 2008 at Mission Hospitals-St. Joseph Campus after a brief battle with cancer. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was the daughter of Lois Moody Cagle and the late Robert H. Cagle. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Cagle. She was a homemaker and attended Rocky Branch Free Will Baptist Church. Wanda enjoyed sweets, being home and her dog. She is survived by a daughter, Sara Beth Seachrist and a son, Matthew Robert Caldwell, both of Canton; two sisters, Darlene Robinson of Sylva and Pam Deaver of Balsam; two granddaughters, Helen and Katlin Caldwell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Charlie Creasman, Jr. and Reverend Jerry Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2008 at the funeral home.
