Wallace David Parker Sr. 90, Passed peacefully in to the loving arms of God on July 7, 2026. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dallas Parker, and Ollis Parker. His sister Tootsie Allen. Also his parents, Frank Parker, and Ruth Parker. He is survived by his daughter, Priscilla Irvin, and his son, David Parker. His grandchildren, Shane, Sean and Seth Irvin. Three great grand kids, and five great- great grand kids.
He was an ordained deacon. He worked at several jobs. Champion Company Store, Wilson Tree Co., Aspen Tree, and Ingles in Canton as a bagger.
He loved to fish and hunt, and gave that love to his son. He had many stories he told, and made them enjoyable and entertaining to listen to. He loved to sing “Johnson’s ole Gray Mule” to his children, grand children and great-great grand children when they were just babies.
Above all he loved Jesus, and knew his Bible, and always tried to love accordingly . He now lives in that land where there are no more tears, no death and no sorrow. We will see you again Daddy. We love you.
There will be no services at this time.
The care of Mr. Parker has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
