Vivian Milner

Waynesville, Vivian Haney Milner, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Homestead. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Dillard and French Green Haney and was also preceded in death by her half-brother, J.B. Haney. Vivian loved spending time with her family and enjoyed baking and gardening. Vivian is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack Milner; two daughters, Karen Hancock and her husband, Matt, of Columbia, South Carolina and Lisa Creasman and her husband, Shawn of Black Mountain; two grandchildren, Lori Clontz and her husband, Daniel, and Annaleah Creasman; and one great-grandchild, Laurel Clontz. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 19 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Michael Revord officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
