Virginia Ramsey

"1919 – 2014" Canton - Virginia Bryson Ramsey, age 95, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late W.M. and Frankie Davis Bryson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Hazel P. Ramsey; infant sons, Robert and Charles; her brother, William F. Bryson; and a sister, Peggy Bryson. Virginia was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and saw her home town of Canton change through the years but remain a place where family and friendships are cherished. As a member of the Canton Central United Methodist Church, she appreciated the fellowship of the congregation and the benefit of their prayers. Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
