Violet Cole

Violet Rhinehart Cole, age 69, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Elizabeth McDonald Rhinehart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Rhinehart. Violet enjoyed working in her flower garden and reading. She is survived by her husband, of 48 years, Carroll Cole; three daughters, Stephanie Dalton and her husband, David, of Preston, Maryland, Dawn Williams and her husband, Earl, of Canton, and Shannon Cole of Black Mountain; four sisters, Edith Nichols, Betty and Mirth Henson, all of Canton, and Barbara Wingrave of Augusta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Ryan Dalton and Lauren Bradley; and her special buddy her dog, Rufus. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating.
