Canton – Tracey Dean Parker, 55, of Worley Cove Road went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Tracey grew up in Canton, North Carolina and was the son of Rose Hall Scott and the late Larry Dean Parker. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John B. Parker and his maternal grandparents, E. G. and Ruth Hall. Tracey’s working career was with Volvo Construction Equipment, Briggs Equipment and Evergreen Packaging. Tracey enjoyed baseball, NASCAR racing, fishing and ballgames with his sons. He was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church, a children’s Sunday School teacher and part of the drama team. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Drew Parker (Morgan), of Canton and Chase Parker (Corinne Mahoney), of Johnson City, Tennessee; his stepmother, Diane Parker, of Canton; a sister, Geni Hall, of Richwood, West Virginia; grandmother, Evelyne Parker; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held in his honor at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
