Thomasine Watts Miller, 90, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center (JF Keever).
Thomasine was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a daughter of the late Aulton B. and Arletha Sutton Watts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Lee Miller, who died in 2018. Thomasine was a teacher’s assistant with the Haywood County School System for a number of years and a member of Dutch Cove Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Teague (Russell), Diane Cordell, and Melissa Hyatt (Keith) all of Canton; a son, Danny Miller (Kim) of Canton; a sister, Donna Sorrells of Canton; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Zachary Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens.
