Thelma Yarski

Waynesville-Thelma B. Yarski, age 75, of 84 Chestnut Park Drive, died Friday, September 20, 2002 at Chestnut Park Rest Home.

She was a native of Russell, Manitoba, Canada and was the daughter of the late Thomas M. and Tannis Naisbit McLeod. She had resided in Haywood County since 1961. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Yarski, who died in 1991. She was a retired bookkeeper with the John Graham Store.

She is survived by two sons, Tom Yarski, of Knoxville, TN and David Yarski and his wife, Susan, of Waynesville; one sister, Bonnie Delaney, of Sydney, Australia; one brother, Glenn McLeod, of Vancouver, Canada; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

At the request of Mrs. Thelma Yarski, no visitation or funeral services are planned.
