Thelma Inman

Canton – Thelma Ann Medford Inman, 84, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at her residence.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Caddie Warren Medford.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Inman, who died in 2016.  Thelma’s interest in life was reading her favorite books and she loved beautiful flowers.  Her family was very special to her and she loved spending time with every one of them.  Thelma was a member of Laurel Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Harold Ray Inman and wife, Sandy, and Jerry David Inman and wife, Sheila Faye, all of Canton; two sisters, Louise Miller of Canton and Maxine Liverman of Candler; one brother, Dalton Medford of Granite Falls; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Gary Putnam officiating.  Burial will follow at Morning Star Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
