Terry Stewart

Clyde-Terry Allen Stewart, age 59, died Friday, December 7, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was a native of Nicholas County, Virginia, but had lived most of his life in Haywood County. He was a son of the late Harold Lee and Margie Missouri Woods Stewart and was also preceded in death by a son Jason Stewart who died in 2005. He was a United States Army veteran serving in the Vietnam Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Kathy Goodson Stewart, one son, Chris Stewart of New Market, TN, step-sons, Tim Connor of Clyde and Mike Connor of Canton, two brothers, Gary Stewart of Clyde and Larry Stewart of St. Petersburg, FL, one grandchild and 7 step-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home of Canton prior to the graveside service. The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Attn: National Call Center, 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.
