Terry Hall

Canton – Terry Obrine Hall, 77, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 at his residence.

A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Milford and Doris Smith Hall.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hall.  Terry was a United States Army veteran having served in Germany.  He worked for Evergreen Packaging for 20 years and retired from Dayco with 26 years of service.  Terry was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman and hunter which he enjoyed greatly.  To Terry, his family was everything.  He was a loving husband, father and family man.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Karen Henderson Hall; one daughter, Katherine Hall of Canton; three sisters, Irene Gibson, Joyce Warren and Brenda Wensil all of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2019 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Brent Day officiating.  Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the National Guard.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
