Taylor Fletcher

Clyde, Taylor Kathleen Fletcher, age 20, passed away of a heart condition on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at her residence.

A native of Haywood County, she was preceded in death by her paternal step-grandfather, Charles McConnell; maternal great-grandmother, Bonnie Lanning.  Taylor was a full-time student at Southwestern Community College.  She loved her friends, making quilts with her grandmother, traveling, shopping, watching Netflix and spending time with her family.

Taylor is survived by her mother, Holly Sutton Fletcher (Gary Nicholson), of Clyde; father, Matthew Fletcher, of New York; maternal grandparents, Larry Sutton (Margaret Anderson), of Waynesville and Judy Johnson (Mike), of Wyoming; paternal grandparents, Ralph Fletcher and Kate McConnell, both of New York; maternal great-grandfather, Earl Lanning; two brothers, Cody Ryan Fletcher and Ethan Fletcher; three uncles, Ryan and Jennifer Sutton, and their sons, Jackson and Jake; Dr. Sam Anderson and John McConnell; great-aunt and uncle, June Ray and Danny Wingate; cousins, Megan and Andy Wilhelm, and their children, Claire and Charlie; Kip Ray, Nolan Sutton and Asjaya Sutton.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Kevin Brooks officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church and will be open to everyone that loved Taylor.  At other times the family will be at the home.  Due to Covid-19, all protocols and mandates are requested to be followed, including mask.

The care of Taylor has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
