Susie Thomason

"1939 – 2016" Canton – Susie Gibson Thomason, 77, of Sharptown Road, passed away on Wednesday, July 06, 2016 at her home. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Pearl Stamey Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Thomason, who died in 2000; three brothers, Richard, Robert, and Tommy Gibson; and one sister, Nina Mae Young. Susie never met a stranger and was very well known for her genuine caring and loving compassion for others. She is survived by a daughter, Theresa Thomason of Fletcher; one son, Kenneth Thomason wife, Kim, of Canton; one sister, Doris June Messer and husband, Crawford, of Canton; and one granddaughter, Hannah Marie Willis and husband, Jacob, of Clyde.
