Susan Stewart

Waynesville-Susan Davis Stewart, age 54, died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was the daughter of the late T. Frank Davis. She earned her education degree from Mars Hill College and was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesville. Her grandchildren were her life. She is survived by her mother, Mary Davis; a daughter Kristina De La Cruz and her husband, Anastacio; two grandchildren, Michael and Jonathan De La Cruz, all of Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2007 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Alan Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
