Sue Greene

"Loving & Devoted Mother, Grandmother & Great-grandmother"

Waynesville, Margaret Sue Dotson Greene, age 84, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at The Homestead surrounded by her loving family.

A native of Haywood County she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Harriett Mehaffey Dotson. Sue was a member of Crabtree Baptist Church and formerly worked with Belk and John Graham Store. She loved square dancing and vacationing at the beach.

Sue is survived by two sons, Dale Greene (Lana), of Bethel and Dean Greene (Debbie), of Rabbitskin; sister, Jewel McElroy, of Trussville, Alabama; two granddaughters, Amanda and Morgan Greene; three great-grandchildren, Colby, Ethan and Caitlyn Traber.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Dawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Youth for Christ, P.O. Box 1101, Waynesville, NC 28786.
