Stuart Sutton

Waynesville, Stuart Robert Sutton, age 79, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Haywood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Joe and Sylva Hembre Sutton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Payne Sutton.

Stuart is survived by two sons, Steve Sutton, of Nebo, and Clarence Sutton, of Andrews; a sister, Zora Mae Green; four grandchildren, Christopher "Chris" Sutton, Cassandra "Cassie" Sutton, Carrie Sutton, and Robert "Dude" Sutton; a step-grandchild, Billy Odom; and two great-grandchildren, Jazzy and Izzy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Nelson, officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
