Steven Camby

Steven Arthur Camby, 68, of Asheville, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. He was the son of the late Luther Camby, Jr. and Ruth Ellen McLemore Camby and grew up in the Oakley community. Steve always had a smile on his face and wanted to give people hugs. He would talk to anyone and loved baseball, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Ice Cream, and Diet Pepsi. His sister, Pam, was honored and privileged to care for him and he was the joy of her life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Camby.
He is survived by his siblings, Pam, Steve, Stanley, Larry (Wanda), and Terry (Sybil) Camby; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, June 4 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
